There are many ways to support us! Register to fundraise as an individual, or form a team of fundraisers and invite others to support your team. Let the community know how you have benefitted from DSANV! Performance shirts can still be ordered through 10/15/2020.
Why Donate?
While we may not be gathering in person for our walk, our mission is unchanged, "to ensure that all individuals with Down syndrome and their families receive the support necessary to participate in, contribute to and achieve fulfillment of life in their communities".
The funds raised from Buddy Walk® support New Parent Breakfasts, The Learning Program, Monthly Bingo, Webinars, Cooking Club and RelationShapes. With your support we can keep these programs and introduce new ones as funding allows.
If you have benefitted from any of these programs, register, set up a fundraising page (It's easy!) and invite your friends and family to support you. Share your story and encourage others to do the same. We're all in this together!

Virtual Event
The Buddy Walk® is DSANV’s primary annual fundraiser. The success of the 2020 event will determine our reach in supporting families living with Down syndrome across Northern Virginia throughout 2021.
I missed the shirt order deadline, can I still order a performance shirt?
- Performance shirts can still be ordered for $32 through 10/15/2020 by selecting the Performance Shirt Only registration option. The order will be placed after Buddy Walk® with delivery directly to you by the end of October.
How do I register multiple participants?

Am I suppose to get a confirmation email?
Yes, you are suppose to get a confirmation email for any action you complete such as registering, donating, etc. If you do not receive a confirmation for an action you believe you should get, then contact us to check confirmation on our end and we'll send a confirmation.

Performance shirt details:
- Performance shirts (in mens, womens and youth) are being offered. There is no in person event this year, so team captains no longer have to keep track of who is on their team for shirt distribution. If you do not want to fundraise, but you want a performance shirt, you can select the performance shirt ticket choice and your purchase can support a fundraising team or individual or the event in general.
